Daniel's big day

We went to court with Daniel today, and yes, if you are thinking that the judge looks vaguely familiar, its because he is the same judge that we saw in October with Isaac. Always great to know that things are final, as far as the courts are concerned, but then again, it really doesn't change our relationship or how we do things. Besides, all the pomp and circumstance lasts for all of ten minutes!

This is our wonderful social worker, Morgan. We have gotten to know her, or should I say, that she has gotten to know us very well. We will miss seeing her every few months. She loved our boys.

Here is our lively family. Never a dull moment, or a calm picture.

(And just so you can relate to our crazy life, here is an inside look into our family....)

Isaac woke up this morning with a very gooey eye. Fearing that it was pink eye (yuck), I called the doctor. So running to the doctor became my new morning activity. I gathered our "court clothes" and made a mad dash for town. At this time I started to think I had over reacted and why was I doing this.

Isaac was diagnosed with pink eye and also double ear infections. Really? And here I thought I was over-reacting. After leaving the office I called to let Mat know what we found out. Because of time, we were in the process of figuring out who was going to pick up children from school and where we were going to meet up. Before those pertinent facts were decided, my phone battery died. Ugh!!!!! Do you ever wonder how we survived before cell phones? Amazingly enough, we met up, everyone changed into their "court clothes", with nothing forgotten and left at home, and we even made it to court on time.

At the end of a crazy day, I look back and laugh about all that goes on and what we survive. But I am so grateful for families and the many blessings that a loving Heavenly Father has given to me and to our family.
